Children dream with few limits. As a kid, I dreamed of being like the characters in my books. I wanted to be a fairy. I grew up and learned that a fairy’s magic is unobtainable. (How unfortunate!) Yet, I knew that wasn’t the point of wanting to be a fairy. As a little girl, I wanted a fairy's courage, curiosity, and perseverance. Those early wishes have stuck with me since.

I saved this “About Me” page for last. One late night putting my portfolio together, I realized how many small choices and projects had been guided by my childhood dreams. Seeing my work laid in front of me reminded me of the influences that shaped me. My younger self would beam with excitement if she got to see who we have become.

Reading—about mermaids and fairies, queens and gods, inventors and everyday people— taught me that remarkable characters are less defined by circumstance and more by mindset and effort.

Throughout high school, I’ve taken on projects to strengthen adaptability, curiosity, kindness, leadership, and organization. I prefer the word “strengthen” because these qualities were already a part of me; growing up as an older sister in a divorced family meant learning to adapt and take responsibility early.

My work values intricacy and care. The details you’ll see in my projects come from passion and steady work, not shortcuts. I hope you notice the thought and craft behind each piece.

Thanks for taking a look, and I hope you enjoy.
